Andrew Bromberg〔(Andrew Bromberg's page on Aedas.com )〕 (born January 26, 1968 in Denver, Colorado) is an American architect. He works in Hong Kong with international architectural practice Aedas. Bromberg’s designs are balanced between humanistic influences of perception and culture, along with more contextual influences of location, climate and geography. ==Early career== Andrew Bromberg studied Environmental Design at the University of Colorado and the Arizona State University; he also studied Architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture and the University of Washington where he received his master’s diploma in 1994. Bromberg won his first award while studying architecture in 1988. From 1994 to 2000, he worked for NBBJ Architects in Seattle, following his passion for traveling that started at an early age he migrated to Asia in 2001. In 2002, Bromberg joined the international architectural practice Aedas. Bromberg's team at the company attained significant accomplishments in a short span of time, winning multiple design competitions and receiving prestigious national and international awards. Brombergs most noteworthy achievement was winning the design competition for the Express Rail Link West Kowloon Terminus in 2009 that will connect Hong Kong to Beijing. Andrew Bromberg comments about his work: “ Central to my work is an underlying philosophy valuing “Human Sustainability” as vital to the success of a project and important as an extension of the public realm.
